Dubai 2020. Sagar Chandiramani nominated for the Excellence in Finance — Leaders award for his significant contribution towards the financial & financial technology sector at FiNext Conference 2020, to be held at Le Meridien Hotel Dubai later this month.

Sagar, being the Managing Director of Ritman Worldwide which is a global payments and advisory company, has been instrumental in taking banking services to peoples doorsteps in various regions especially in the GCC along with aligning his startup with the regional vision of converting countries into a ‘less cash society’ if not a complete ‘cashless society’.

Speaking a bit about what Ritman does, Sagar quoted “Ritman Worldwide is a startup that is into the two most happening industries, ‘FinTech & Advisory’. The FinTech arm of Ritman is called RitmanPay that is a turnkey payment solutions provider ranging right from a middleware payments app to providing banks & financial institutions with devices using which, transactions can be carried out at the remotest locations with deep focus on customer experience and journey. Apart from RitmanPay, Ritman’s Advisory arm is called RitAdvice (pronounced as “Right Advice”) that mainly focuses on corporate finance such as mergers & acquisitions, restructuring & strategic advisory. In a short span of 5 years, Ritman has led some remarkable deals in the region especially in the oil & gas, events services and corporate services space.”

Academically, Sagar is a Qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Heriot-Watt University. Sagar is a known face in educational institutions as a panelist or keynote speaker on topics surrounding entrepreneurship & the what are the skills of the future.

Apart from being the Managing Director at Ritman, Sagar is on the C-Suite and strategic advisor to some renowned organizations in the region. Being a millennial and having grown in the era of smartphones, Sagar’s vision is to make solutions that need minimal intellect to operate and extreme ease of accessibility.
