Walter Svoboda awarded the ‘Excellence in Finance Leaders’ award at FiNext Conference Dubai 2020.

Dubai 2020. Walter Svoboda is the CEO of Wüstenrot Datenservice GmbH.

In 2000, as part of a restructuring of the Wüstenrot Group Walter was appointed in the management of Wüstenrot Datenservice as such, among others, responsible for the EURO conversion and the establishment of IT support for various shareholdings of the Wüstenrot group in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Croatia.

As Head of Software development Wüstenrot insurance company (1997), he was responsible for the Y2K conversion. He also worked for the Development and design of a development framework which still today is the basis of application development at Wüstenrot.
